Korn - Kiss

Korn在90年代中期解救了重金屬，他們為原地踏步的重金屬音樂找到新的出路，他們為聽來已漸漸讓人不耐的重金屬注入新的元素。在Korn之前重金屬與舞曲型樂風的關係，彷彿呂副總統與新新聞；自我們聽到重金屬以來，它能與龐克結合、能與硬蕊搖滾結合、能與藍調搖滾結合、甚至與古典結合，Korn出人意表的將它與Hip Hop結合。Korn善用詭異的編曲手法與極不和諧的和絃營造一種讓人聽來緊張、不安而緊繃的感覺，他們徹底的推翻以往重金屬的風格，無論是編曲、音色、節奏或歌曲段落。在Korn的音樂中沒有以往重金屬樂迷在歌曲中最期待的吉他獨奏，並且使用七弦吉他，以便能演奏高低音落差極大的樂句。KORN將重金屬帶到了一個以往樂迷不曾到過的地方，時間證明他們成功了。
