Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard - The Dark Knight

《黑暗騎士》無疑是今年目前為止聲勢最強大的電影
而其電影配樂也是一絕
相信大家都對小丑的雜音前奏、以及蝙蝠俠的沈重配樂
有著深刻的印象
尤其是小丑的雜音前奏
每次聽到那雜音傳來
就知道又有人要慘死了...壓迫感超重的
我翻譯了原聲帶CD中所收錄，導演諾蘭對電影配樂的一點心得
放在這裡和大家分享
由於小弟我不是專業翻譯
有謬誤之處在所難免

我必須要向漢斯和詹姆斯承認，我之所以會想重回《開戰時刻》世界的原因之一，就是因為背景音樂實在太過出色。音樂確實完美捕捉到到我心中想像的氣氛——充 滿能量，且不失莊嚴，動感與情感兼具。他們的音樂比人們所知道的還要有創新感，我從沒看過有動作電影的預告片能和配樂如此契合。所以，我認為我們不需要添 加太多的新音樂到新故事《黑暗騎士》中。

當我和漢斯表達我的看法時，他並不急著和我爭辯，他只是給了我「好啊，我們等著瞧」的眼神，然後詢問這次的新角色「小丑」的相關細節。我使用「卑劣、凌 亂、令人害怕」等字眼來形容這個角色。我還說我希望能馬上聽到試作品，越快越好。我在坐飛機前往香港的旅程中，用隨身聽來聽這些試作品，結果我這一輩子所 聽過最粗糙、最難以理解的怪音樂就這樣不斷的灌進我耳中，下了飛機後，長時間被怪音轟炸的我簡直變了個人。但在這些折磨人的音樂中，潛伏著小丑那駭人的笑 聲下，最寧靜也最精緻的痛苦情緒。

哈維丹特的音樂則需要另一種表現手法。這個角色的悲劇是《黑暗騎士》故事的情感主軸，我希望詹姆斯能用他的音樂，將哈維丹特從理想英雄轉變為墮落之人的意 境給傳達出來。詹姆斯先用充滿美國風的感覺來塑造哈維的音樂，最後以恢弘的交響樂作結，呈現出哈維從優雅轉為墮落的意象。此段配樂風格是蝙蝠俠系列電影的 全新嘗試，但卻能完美的和其他音樂融合在一起，這都要歸功於兩位音樂大師的無間合作。他們倆之間完全沒有任何嫌隙，在最良性的競爭下，兩位大師相輔相成， 使出渾身解數做出最好的音樂。

我們有想過直接把《開戰時刻》部分的音樂套入新電影中，不過當剪接工程開始後，我們就知道直接移植的方式是行不通的。幸運的是，漢斯和詹姆斯不斷的研究著 製作中的電影片段，他們尋找新的音效，還有新的音樂元素，讓他們的音樂和電影故事一起成長。在拍片的過程中，我能感受到每個部門都對《黑暗騎士》有著相當 大的野心，漢斯和詹姆斯的音樂團隊當然也不例外。當其他人已經在休息充電時，音樂團隊則利用這個時段開工。他們永遠對自己的作品不滿意、不滿足，總是覺得 還有哪裡可以作的更好…

在詹姆斯無止盡的追求卓越完美，以及漢斯對鼓聲的執著堅持下。比前作更能使《黑暗騎士》完整的音樂傑作終能呈現。而漢斯也非常有風度，好在他沒跟我說「我早就跟你說了嘛！」

JNH我比較沒注意，所以我在這邊也不多提了
不過Zimmer常看電影的可能都聽過他的音樂
舉幾個近期他的作品：神鬼奇航2,3、達文西密碼、功夫熊貓、蝙蝠俠開戰時刻,黑暗騎士、神鬼戰士、末代武士......等等，從1982年到現在Zimmer的作品已經超過一百個了
